£50 CTF vouchers from 1 August

This month marks the beginning of changes to the Child Trust Fund. Babies born after 1 August will only be entitled to a £50 Child Trust Fund voucher rather than £250 as the scheme is phased out. While some providers such as The Children's Mutual have closed their books to new business, others like Family Investments will continue to accept reduced vouchers, which can be invested in cash, stocks and shares or stakeholder accounts. With a decreasing number of options on the market, now is the time to make your choice. And we'll do all we can to help! Click here for reviews and comparison tables.

"I found it easy to understand and set up for the kids, in a language that even a single mum can understand. With a great interest rate. I can just choose to put in birthday money as they get it or put a regular amount in depending on how much I can afford. I can even choose at what age they can access their account..." posted by Di
