I have 3 grandchildren and wish to open a trust fund (discretionary fund) for each with an initial lump sum of £500 and perhaps myself and others adding to this occasionally. Is this possible? Pete

Afternoon Pete.  One of the simplest ways to do what you want would be to set up a unit trust, the policy would be owned by the trust until the children reach the age you wish to let them have the money, many insurance companies offer these types of products as well as the necessary documentation to put the policy into trust however there are lots of options available so I would need to know more about your own circumstances before giving any advice, please find enclosed my contact details.
